My work focuses on the concept of sustainable fashion using the Zero Waste pattern, a design technique that eliminates textile waste at the first stage of designing a garment. The challenge is to draft the pattern within the width of the fabric utilizing every piece within the width that is being wasted. A pret collection for fresh graduates, using the basic kurta as a source for my silhouette keeping the key elements such as the Kali,Gusset and kurta patti intact.
