Hidden poetry of everyday objects

This work engages the viewers to experience domestic objects beyond their mundane identity and function. These ordinary objects are reimagined to create new atmospheric experiences which, through the use of repetitive movements and sound, enhance a heightened sense of spatial and sensory realizations. The current body of work is an amalgamation of domestic cutlery and auto electronic machines. The work seeks to provide a position of contentment that has a meditative and satisfying experience for the observer. It also creates a responsive environment for the spectator to interact. The material inspiration evolved during the COVID 19 pandemic which allowed me to thoroughly observe and develop a bonding with objects in my surroundings.
