Archeological Research of Ancestors Home

My work is about my ancestor’s home initiated by observing transitions in architecture within one space. The sand drawing of a linear pattern shows layers of constructions of one home which is never demolished to preserve memories and how it is trying to fit into peri-urban society. Whereas the collection from soil depict history which these walls are holding behind as an archive. My work also explore old belongings of my family as I have attempt to activate every piece by creating facts and fictional stories. My work collectively is a relationship within past and present also knowing the difference between temporary and permanent. Along with talking about the stories my work reflect, I have left collection of archives open towards interpretation.
