Fairytales are rich visual narratives that not only enhance our sense of wonder but also provide an escape from reality, allowing us to find comfort in our fantasies. Therefore, by taking inspiration from the books Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass by Lewis Carroll, I have created a collection of fantastical looks for young women that are playful yet feminine. Each look was inspired by one of the iconic characters from the books.

Here are some of my initial sketches from the concept development stage. This is my process work where I try to extract silhouettes for my designs from the iconic characters as seen above. In order to understand the characters better, I also tried illustrating them in my own style.
