Phenomenological study in architecture inspires us to articulate meaningful experiences. The way we feel and experience the spaces around us determines our relationship with the world. This thesis explores these notions by enhancing the adventures of a place to make us fully aware of the surroundings and evokes our senses. To connect to the original forces of the earth becomes integral as our built environment has to capture and reflect the spirit of the place. In this thesis, I attempt to design a meditation and yoga retreat at Tushan Beach, which connects us with the natural environment and ourselves.
