This thesis explores the metaphor of the city as a living organism that grows and adapts according to the needs and patterns of its dwellers. Drawing parallels between the city and the human body as adaptable organisms, this thesis takes inspiration from the Lymphatic Node (a vital part of the human body’s immune system) as an organizing element within the city. Consequently resulting in a microcosm that acts as a filter and a healing agent, providing relief to and from the dense urban context of the city. The project investigates the Park typology by identifying and incorporating different functions and needs that have come about through a natural/organic process over time within its context.
