By mindlessly walking in familiar spaces, I respond to mundane aspects of my steps in relation to observing and feeling the floor underneath. With each step, I absorb the surface touching my feet as its layers interact to form spaces on their own that are meditative, observant, and silent. The walk happens organically and becomes more of an activity, while its impressions result in visuals derived from my emotions. My paintings, thereby, act as a transition between the existing ground, its colors, marks, and texture built over time, and my present thoughts.
