Multan has been known for its culture of creating introverted spaces like; courtyards, verandas, backyards, etc. which act as spaces where families come together. The practice of building narrow streets (shaded), different scales of courtyards, insulated walls, and cooling towers allow the people to exist in a thermally comfortable environment.
