The ideation process for the thesis was inspired by phenomenology of physical surroundings and its impact on a person's personality. The way we as humans interact with spaces, socialize within the space, spend time and encapsulate from their surroundings let me question about spaces and how differently its used by all age groups. This thesis despite stemming from a personalized point of query identified spaces, in particular for kids should be designed better in the current day and age. This is because their association with space and place is not formed until and unless they interact with the outer world. Hence their idea of place identity is not formed until they socialize in schools, make friends, make tons of memories and spend time in the outer world. That's where a gap was identified and concluded that a learning facility like a neighborhood school should be based on a holistic idea which impacts better on the little ones.
