“Connecting to my Roots”
My collection is based on the concept of “Connecting back to my roots”. I belong from a Sindhi background and I wanted to incorporate my culture into my collection. My inspiration is the Sindhi Pankha (Hand fan). As the pankha is made with palm leaves which has neutral color and decorated with vibrant tassels and mirror work on it, the collection also consists of silhouettes derived by the fan with neutral color and vibrant details.
