Project Title:

Celebrating Coexistence between livestock and humans in Memon Goth

Location:

Memon Goth, Karachi

User Group:

Livestock owners in Memon Goth

Research led to the discovery of Livestock and milk being an uncelebrated asset in Pakistan, which is the fourth largest milk producing country in the world but still imports milk by products. The problem lies with big milk factories buying the milk for underwhelming prices from smaller communities that suffer, humans and livestock. This project focuses on one such community, aiming to create a module that can be replicated in others. The aim of the project is to optimize the living conditions of the livestock and help generate revenue for the community by utilizing the community bond and labor skillset. The generated revenue by proposed interventions gives back to the community and uplifts the lives of the humans and the livestock.
