A Metamorphosing Reality
Observing light and shadows within my apartment has become the bridge that I'm walking on to reach a more evolved comprehension of feeling at home when the home itself is encapsulated within a constantly metamorphosing palpable and impalpable reality. My work explores the potential of nurturing a particular way of seeing. Karachi has every imaginable form of disorder and chaos to offer to its inhabitants who cannot afford luxury in housing. With this body of work, I strive to realize that the more nonchalant we become towards the presence or absence of this sensibility towards these moments, the faster we will let go of some of the primal elements that make us human.
