Shaping Memories: Upcycling Cloth Using Geometrical Configuration
Ever since my childhood, I have seen my grandmother upcycle pieces of fabrics and give them a new purpose. Using those fabrics she used to make new things. So taking inspiration from my grandmother, the collection has been made using pre-consumer textile waste, and upcycled those fabrics to make a collection. Geometric shapes are used as the source of inspiration for the silhouette of the garments. This collection includes ready-to-wear western wear designed for teenage girls (age 16-19), which they can wear while going out for lunches, dinners, birthday parties, etc.
