Recycling polythene bags
Polythene bags are one of the major pollutant of the environment so I have recycled the discarded polythene bags into a functional product. The armatures that I have used are the old and discarded wooden and plastic furniture. I have designed outdoor furniture pieces keeping in mind the characteristics of a polythene bag which is , they are durable ,easy to clean and water proof. I am using polythene bags that are collected from different houses in my neighborhood as plastic bags are used regularly in every household and then from the households they end up in landfills . Due to the availability of wide range of colors from bright reds, oranges and blues so the mood of this collection is refreshing, colorful and relaxing . The source for the designs are fruits as fruits are colorful and refreshing.
