My practice examines the relationship between the idea of archiving, memories and the representation of it through the medium. Looking at the sky everyday became the conversations that were translated into visuals through its documentation. The use of sky images and the construction of the artwork along with the chosen material enabled me to portray memories that remind me of past, grief and loss. These works come close to abstraction and the specific medium was chosen because of its derivation and its characteristics. In my practice, I am drawn to clean aesthetics with simple, controllable elements.
