The truth is that trauma is not just “in your head”. It leaves a real, physical imprint on your body. My work is about how the body reacts to unprocessed trauma, things which our conscious mind forgets - the body remembers. In a sense the works are observational, portraying the involuntary changes in the body language of survivors of sexual harassment and how these become a permanent part of their interpersonal communication in every aspect of their lives.
